Hair is the very complex factor which appears
on the human surface. We all know that Hair does not play only the role to
transmit sensory information as well as create gender identification that plays
the crucial human life part.
"Science Behind the beauty of Hair?"
Hair /Hair follicle in human being is one of the
tiny biological factor in hair producing process. It has a complicated
anatomical that is conducted under the influence of genetic and hormonal
controls. Like versatile factors, it has a limited effective lifetime: each
follicle completes 10 to 20 hair growth cycles namely Anagen, Catagen &
Telogen respectively in its lifetime-or said another way, each follicle
produced 10 to 20 hairs in its lifetime. Process takes 2-8 years by this hair
growth cycles.
Cycling
of Hair Growth

This hair loss cycle is connected with problems like temporary hair loss and the growth of new hair from the same follicles. This cycle consist following three phases:
- Anagen-( Growing Phase)
- Catagen-(Intermediate
/Degradation
phase)
- Telogen-(Resting phase)
There is no break or
discontinuity between phases; the hair cycle is a continuous process that
occurs for the life of the hair follicle. A complete scalp hair cycle stretches
over 2 to 8 years:
- Anagen
(growth)-3 to 7.5 years
- Catagen
(degradation)-1.5 to5 weeks
- Telogen (rest)-3
to 4 months
The "dead"
hair that was degraded during the catagen (degradation) phase is pushed out of
the follicle when a new hair emerges in anagen (growth) phase. A healthy person
with a full head of hair will shed on average 50 to 100 "dead" hairs per
day.
